On June 23, 2012, Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” hosted the contest announced within the framework of the undergraduate general module academic course “Academic Writing”. The contest was open to the first-year students. The jury named the following winner students:

• The Best Argument Essay - Ana Garuchava
• The Best Critical Essay – Natia Tsutskhashvili
• The Best Free Essay – Elene Midelashvili

The winners of the contest were rewarded with charters and symbolic gifts.

The contest was organized by Assistant Professor Maka Lashkhia, Head of ISU General Module Program, Maka Pataridze, Coordinator of First-Year Students, and teachers of the lecture course ”Academic Writing”.

Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” was a supporter of the contest.
