Conference “European Creative Researches”
On March 7-8, Ilia State University hosted a conference on “European Creative Researches” organized by ISU Arts Research Institute.
Georgian scientists, professors from different European performing arts academies and universities took part in the event. The conference was opened by Gigi Tevzadze, Rector of Ilia State University. Levan Khetaguri, Director of ISU Arts Research Institute, introduced the main goals and objectives of the conference to the audience.
The participants of the conference discussed the following issues: Necessity of Creative works; Creative Works in Europe –Different Experiences; Theory and Practice of Performing Arts; Joint PhD Programs - European PhD program in Arts research and etc. 
On March 8, the representatives of Ilia State University and the Academy for Music and Performing Arts at Leiden University (Netherland) signed a cooperation memorandum. In Addition, Frans de Ruiter, President of the European House for Culture, officially opened a “Europe Culture House” under ISU Art Research Institute. The partner of the program is International Foundation for Culture “Caucasus” (Netherland).
