On January 21, 2011 the scientific conference on the topic “Climate Changes and Ecological Problems” was held at the Ilia State University.

During two decades, the climate changes and its related problems receive more attention from the different branches of science. Today, the important scientific works related to the climate changes are going on in Georgia. The representatives of the Ilia State University as well as various scientific educational institutions participated in the conference. They presented 14 reports related to the main topic of the conference.

The overall objective of the conference was the promotion of the climate changes and ecology related issues.
