Childhood without Violence
Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” hosted an event “Childhood without Violence” organized by the Public Health and Medicine Development Fund of Georgia and dedicated to the international day on prevention of child abuse. This day incorporates the entire world for prevention of child abuse and various activities are usually planned to raise awareness of society on child rights.
The event was also devoted to the presentation of the reading material entitled “Major Topics of Child Abuse” designed for higher education institutions of Tbilisi. In addition, the public discussion on the facts of children abuse was organized with participation of psychologists, doctors, pediatrists, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and students of the higher education institutions of Georgia.
