Before and After Modernity
On May 21, 2012, Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” hosted the presentation of the book “Political Theology: Before and After Modernity”. The book belongs to ISU Press and Professor Giga Zedania is an editor of it.
Professor Giga Zedania, ISU Rector Gigi Tevzadze and Head of Administration Sergo Ratiani highlighted the importance and content of the book. As they stated, the book is a collection of articles including the researches carried out by the members of ISU Institute of Modernity Studies.
The publication concerns the theoretical and historical issues of religion & politics inter-relations in Georgia and world-wide from the Middle Ages up to now.
The diversity of theoretical approaches and analyzed empirical materials, covering a wide range of issues from theology to fine arts, makes this book as a serious input to political theology discourse taking place in academic and civil societies worldwide.
