Austrian Diplomats at the Ilia State University

On October 26, 2010 the Austrian Library of the Ilia State University celebrated Austrian National Day.

The Ambassador of Austria, Georgia Dr. Michael Postl and Head of the Section of Cultural Policy of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, Dr. Martin Aichtinger delivered a lecture: “Austrian National Day: October 26, 1955 – Law of a Permanent Neutrality”.

The guests also met Ilia State University professors and discussed with them perspectives of future cooperation between Austria and Georgia.

The Austrian Library hosted a screening of the film “Klimt” (staring John Malkovich), which is dedicated to life and work of the famous artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918)...
