Ilia State University Rector, Professor Giga Zedania, met Ambassador of Austria to Azerbaijan, Sylvia Meier-Kajbi, University of Applied Sciences Krems General Director, Heinz Boyer and vice Rector, and Karl Ennsfellner.

Deputy Head of Department of International Relations , Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Gvtisiashvili; European Affairs Department Adviser, Niko Gegshidze; and Ilia State University representatives also attended the meeting.

The main aim of this meeting was to exchange information on tourism management between Ilia State University and University of Applied Sciences Krems. Parties agreed on future cooperation in form of a memorandum and implementation of joined educational and exchange programs
