Lists of Candidates for Admission to Doctoral Programs at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine for the Spring Semester of 2024-2025

News

The following are the lists of candidates for admission to the doctoral programs at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine for the spring semester of 2024-2025:

Important Information Regarding Contract Signing: Contracts with enrolling candidates will be signed on February 18 and 19, 2025. The signing will take place in room H118 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Entry is possible through 3/5 Cholokashvili Avenue, H Building.

Applicants for doctoral studies should have the following documents when signing the contract:

a) ID card or passport (original and its copy). In case of citizenship of a foreign country - notarized translation of passport (or identity card);
b) two photographs and an electronic version of the Photo (on CD);
c) A notarized copy of the diploma confirming a Master's or equivalent degree (or, in cases where the diploma is equivalent to a five-year higher education master's degree, the equivalence certificate must be validated by the National Center for the Development of Educational Quality). This must be issued by an accredited higher education institution. Alternatively, if the diploma has not yet been issued, a certificate of awarded Master's degree from an accredited higher education institution is required. This certificate must include the decision number and date regarding the granting of the qualification. For higher education obtained abroad, an original document issued by the National Center for the Development of Educational Quality that recognizes foreign education is also required.;
d) If the candidate has completed a full bachelor's or master's degree program taught in English, they must submit a diploma that verifies the completion of the English-language program. Additionally, the authenticity of the diploma must be confirmed by the National Center for Educational Quality Development.;
e) A valid certificate proving English language proficiency at least at B2 level (TOEFL (P/B minimum 513 scores; I/BT minimum 75 scores); IELTS (minimum 5); minimum FCE; minimum BEC Vantage; PTE (minimum General level 3); PTE Academic (minimum 59p); minimum Michigan ECCE) or a relevant valid certificate issued by the National Center for Assessment and Examinations, confirming the candidate's English language proficiency at least at the B2 level required by the program);
f) Original document confirming military registration (only for male applicants);
g) If a proxy submits documents and signs the contract for the doctoral candidate, they must provide a notarized power of attorney.
h) For applicants to the Public Health program - it is mandatory to submit an original letter of recommendation from the employer/direct supervisor, confirming at least 2 years of experience working in the healthcare field.

Note: The candidate must submit the above documents to sign the contract, which is a prerequisite for enrollment in the doctoral program at Ilia State University.

Information about candidates for admission to the doctoral program (candidates' grades and identification numbers) will be posted on the official website of Ilia State University until the end of March 2025.
