On December 7, Ilia State University hosted a working meeting with representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and German universities. GIZ implements the regional program "Sustainable Urban Mobility in the South Caucasus", which is also funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation. The program is developing materials to offer lectures to students on urban mobility topics.

During the meeting, it was planned to offer a series of lectures for Ilia State University students. The parties also discussed opportunities for future cooperation in the field of architecture and engineering.
