Ilia State University offers students with active status to become members of #IEEE - the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its more than 419,000 members in over 160 countries, and its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. 

IEEE is the trusted voice for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

In 2021, Iliauni enrolled 22 students in the IEEE. As a result, the IEEE Student Branch was established for the first time in Georgia on the ground of Iliauni. The university, by 2022, offers an additional 10 students the opportunity to join the organization. Selected applicants will receive funding based on their cover letters and interview.
