Mariam Gigauri has become the new leader of Ilia State University Google Developer Student Club.

Mariam is a fourth year student, studying at Ilia State University  in electrical and electronic engineering.

She also teaches electronics and programming at the Engineering School for Girls, organized by Ilia State University and the US Embassy, which already has 150 graduate girls.

Mariam loves physics and participates in theoretical research, results of which she has presented at a conference in Stuttgart, Germany.

In June 2020, the idea to establish the club came to Negar Vahid, a third year computer engineering student at Ilia State University. The club is designed for students interested in technology who are focused on creating an innovative ecosystem and trying to implement their ideas.

About the Club:

The club aims to conduct various extracurricular activities for Ilia State University students, and not only, which will be related to programming and technology. Activities will be held for both Georgian and foreign students. Club membership is open to any student of Ilia State University who is interested in Google technologies. Membership form will be disclosed after October 16th, 2021.
