Events

Tamar Tateshvili, a first-year student of the Computer Science Program at the Iliauni School of Technology, has established a Digital Leadership Student Club for Iliauni students interested in technology, entrepreneurship, STEM topics and e-learning.

Tamar is a graduate of the FLEX American Exchange Program. In 2021-2022, she is the representative of the American Councils at Ilia State University, which means that the club will cooperate intensively with the Georgian office of the American Councils.

As part of the 2020 Millennium Innovation Competition, Tamar, together with the GoGeoGo team, created the Android mobile app GoGeoGo (which provides users with the necessary information on the public transport schedule throughout Samtskhe-Javakheti) and took third place.

The aim of the club is to hold events for Ilia State University students to learn about the modern managerial approaches and skills needed to create mobile applications, websites or digital products.

The events will be held in English for both Georgian and foreign students.

Within the activities of the club, students will be able to discuss current issues, hold discussions and participate in events.

On November 25, at 16:00 p.m., the first information meeting will be held.
