GRIPS Master’s Programs (2027–2028), Tokyo, Japan in Public Policy (2027–2028)

Exchange Programs

The National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Tokyo, Japan, invites applications for its one-year (MP1) and two-year (MP2) Master's Programs in Public Policy for the 2027–2028 academic year.

GRIPS is a Japanese government-supported graduate institution specializing in public policy education and research. The programs are designed primarily for government officials and public sector professionals, with all courses taught in English.

Applications will open in August 2026.

Applicants may choose one of the following fields:

  • Economic Policy
  • International Development Studies
  • International Relations
  • Public Policy

Funding: Outstanding applicants may be eligible for full scholarships, including the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship and the ADB–Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). Depending on the scholarship scheme, funding may cover tuition and admission fees, a monthly stipend, and travel expenses to and from Japan.
