Workshop of Boston College Professors ,,Demystifying AI: From Fundamentals to Applications''

Events

On May 27, Ilia State University hosts Boston College professors and IT specialists. They will hold one of the most outstanding workshops for IT students and people interested in this field.

Topic: Demystifying AI: From Fundamentals to Applications

Keynote speaker: Dr. Donglai Wei, Professor at Boston College, Research Affiliate at Harvard University, PhD from MIT

Workshop Description: Just like the revolutionary inventions of personal computers and the internet, AI has the potential to transform every aspect of our lives, from healthcare and education to transportation and entertainment. However, AI often remains a complex and misunderstood field by the general public and college students. This workshop aims to demystify AI by explaining fundamental concepts and providing practical exercises. This twohour workshop is divided into two interactive sessions, featuring a keynote presentation, panel discussions, and a hands-on tutorial to build a real-time vehicle counting application from scratch.
