Historian Kurt Scharr, professor of the University of Innsbruck, will deliver a public lecture “Schaufeln-Schubkarren-Stacheldraht. Peter Demant – Erinnerungen eines Österreichers an Zwangsarbeitslager und Verbannung in der Sowjetunion”, organized by the Embassy of Austria in Georgia and the Center of Austrian Culture, in the S507 seminar hall of Ilia State University on February 24, at 16:00.

The event will be attended by the Ambassador of Austria to Georgia, Thomas Mühlmann.

Professor Kurt Scharr will also hold a short presentation about a school project, which is planned to be implemented in cooperation with Georgian schools.
