On June 8, at 19:00, a public lecture will be held at Ilia State University by Professor Elena Shevchenko of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on the topic: "Ukraine-EU relations and the European integration process."
The speaker will focus on the first attempts to establish relations between Ukraine and the European Economic Community after independence, the relations developed after the Orange Revolution, the format of the Eastern Partnership, the Association Agreement, etc. She will also talk about the prospects and challenges of Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
