A discussion on the topic “Public Opinion Research and Democracy” will be held within the framework of the “Reconstructing the Public Sphere in Georgia” project of the Center for Advanced Studies of Ilia State University in the book house “Ligamus” on November 17, at 13:00.

Speakers

Professor Michael Traugott, Program Director of the Inter-university Quantitative Research Methods Consortium for Political and Social Science at the University of Michigan; President of the World and American Associations for Public Opinion Research; Professor at Northwestern University.

Peter Miller, former president of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).

The meeting will be moderated by Professor Giga Zedania, the Director of the Center for Advanced Studies of Ilia State University.

The project is implemented with the support of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program of the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia.
