On April 22, at 14:00, in E207 room of Ilia State University, the presentation of a joint STEM Scholarship programme of BasisBank and Ilia State University (ISU) will be held.

The budget of STEM scholarship programme is about 30 000 GEL. This scholarship fund is intended to be used to finance the current and future students of Ilia State University bachelor’s degree programmes of San Diego State University.

5 students with highest scores in 2016 United National Exams having enrolled in Ilia State University bachelor’s degree programmes  of San Diego State University will get a scholarship voucher GEL 4000.

GEL 2000 scholarship vouchers will be bestowed upon those first year students attending Ilia State University bachelor’s degree programmes of San Diego State University, who are to be sent to San Diego State University, the USA, for a year. The students are as follows: Mariam Gagua, Erekle Jmukhadze, Saba Kakabadze and Nino Mikadze.

The Programme of the Event:
14:00 – the opening ceremony, Nino Dvalidze, Deputy Rector of Ilia State University
14: 10 – Nancy Marlin, Honourable Deputy Rector of San Diego State University / Dr. Nancy Marlin, Provost Emeritus of SDSU
14:20 – Tamar Khaduri, Head of Basisbank Public Relations Department.
14:30 – Completion of the memorandum
14:40 – Students Awards Ceremony
14:50 - Luncheon
15:00 – STEM Tour at Iliauni Campus
