Professor Malkhaz Songhulashvili was awarded an international prize for his contribution to the formation of a culture of tolerance

On May 25, 2022, at the International Conference on Interreligious Dialogue in Doha, Qatar, Malkhaz Songhulashvili, Professor of Comparative Theology and Religious Studies at Ilia State University, was awarded the International Prize for Interreligious Dialogue.

The Doha International Center for Interreligious Dialogue (DICID) awarded the winners for their contribution to fostering a culture of tolerance, for their contribution to the fight against hate speech and for their interfaith consent.

Ilia State University congratulates Mr. Malkhaz Songhulashvili the International Award and his recognition of his contribution to the promotion of Interreligious Dialogue.
