


ILIA STATE UNIVERSITY (ISU) STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN MODEL EUROPEAN UNION

On April 29-30, the ISU Faculty of Arts and Sciences students, Nino Gabelashvili, Otar Jincharadze, Salome Samsiani, and Mariam Anjaparidze, visited Kosovo to participate in the EU simulation organized by the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" (Kosovo).
The simulation, which was part of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Networks project "Linking Europe at the Periphery (LEAP)” explored the topic “The EU’s impact on the Western Balkans amid the War in Ukraine.”
About 30 students from different foreign universities took part in the simulation. The ISU representatives received the Outstanding Delegate Award for their successful participation.
Giorgi Gvalia and Davit Aprasidze, professors at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, led the delegation of Georgia in Kosovo.
