On 4 November 2026, Ilia State University will host Kirkland Program Day, bringing together representatives of the Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program, programme alumni, academics, students, young professionals, and prospective applicants.

The Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program is a Polish international scholarship initiative that offers opportunities for academic and professional development in Poland. It supports emerging leaders, professionals, and researchers from eligible countries, including Georgia, through university-based study, research, and practical experience.

The event aims to introduce participants to the programme's opportunities, application procedures, and the academic and professional experiences of former scholarship holders, while strengthening international cooperation and alumni connections.

Who might be interested?

The event will be particularly valuable for students, graduates, young professionals, researchers, academic staff, representatives of public institutions and civil society organizations, and anyone interested in international scholarships, professional development, research opportunities, and studying in Poland.

The programme will feature a presentation of the Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program, alumni experience-sharing sessions, an interactive Q&A, and informal networking activities.

A special highlight will be Kirkland Open Space, where prospective applicants can meet alumni, ask questions, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for future academic and professional collaboration.
