Ilia State University is pleased to announce that Springer, one of the world's leading academic publishing houses, is publishing a new scholarly monograph authored by Professor Merab Svanadze of Ilia State University.

The monograph, Mathematical Theories of Nanoporous Media: Elasticity and Thermoelasticity, makes a significant contribution to the mathematical foundations of nanoporous media by presenting comprehensive theories of elasticity and thermoelasticity and demonstrating their relevance to engineering, geomechanics, materials science, and biomechanics.
