KAIST Scholarships – Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology

The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is accepting applications for Master’s and Ph.D. programs. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to study at KAIST tuition-free and receive a monthly stipend.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants for Master’s or integrated Master’s-Ph.D. programs must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree by August 2025, while applicants for Ph.D. programs must hold a Master’s degree.
- Applicants must submit proof of English proficiency via TOEFL iBT, IELTS, TOEIC, or TEPS certificates.
- Applicants must secure an academic advisor at the host university during the application process.
Scholarships:
Monthly stipends vary depending on the program and department. Within the College of Engineering (CoE), the average stipend exceeds 1,700,000 KRW.

Scholarship Duration:
- Master’s: 4 semesters
- Ph.D.: 8 semesters
- Integrated Master’s-Ph.D.: 10 semesters

Recommendation Letter Submission Deadline: March 24, 2026, 18:00 (KST)
