The Tech Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Center of Ilia State University, with Zoomout and FabLab is inviting you Join us on 26th of June, at 16:00 o’clock for an inspiring fireside chat with Dr. Alex F. DeNoble, Professor Emeritus of Entrepreneurship at San Diego State University and author of “The Entrepreneur Within”

Dr. Alex F. DeNoble is a Professor Emeritus of Entrepreneurship at San Diego State University.  Between 2012 and 2023, he served as the Executive Director of SDSU’s Lavin Entrepreneurship Center. In addition to his university responsibilities, Dr. DeNoble was a member of the Board of Directors for the International Council for Small Business and was the 2015 President of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. His areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, corporate innovation and strategic management. His work appears in such journals as the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and the Journal of Small Business Management. He has consulted and conducted workshops with organizations including Qualcomm, San Diego Gas & Electric, NEC Corporation, LG Corporation and Siemens. Dr. DeNoble recently published his book entitled The Entrepreneur Within: You Don’t Have to Quit Your Day Job to Experience Entrepreneurship. He is also working on a new book entitled Technology Development and Commercialization along with his co-author, Dr. Craig Galbraith. 

The session will be moderated by Tini Mamuchashvili – Manager of the Zoomout Pre-accelerator at Ilia State University and Founder of the startup NEUROPILOT.

The meeting is implemented within the framework of the project "‘Foster University Entrepreneurship Education (EE) Curricular and Co-curricular Reform’  which is a grantee of the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) created in frames of a program – “Georgia I2Q – Innovation, Inclusion and Quality” a joint program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the World Bank."
