Panel Discussion: Georgia’s European Quest: Building Resilience in an EU Context

On February 8, 2024, at 16:00, Book House Ligamus will host a panel discussion on Georgia-EU relations. Internationally recognized political scientists and professors from the Free University of Berlin, Tanja Börzel and Thomas Risse, will join professors and researchers from Ilia State University to participate in the discussion.

The panelists will explore various aspects of Georgia-EU relations from an academic standpoint. Topics will include the impact of rapprochement with the European Union on Georgia’s domestic reforms, geopolitical dynamics of Georgia-EU relations, pro-Western and anti-Western actors in Georgia, the significance of EU candidate status and challenges in further rapprochement/integration with the European Union

The event is organized within the framework of the European Union project Jean Monnet Chair at Iliauni.
