Marking 100 Years Since the 1924 Uprising − Panel Discussion Featuring Professors

Events

On December 13, at 16:00, a panel discussion marking the 100th anniversary of the 1924 Uprising will be held at the Book House Ligamus. The event is organized by the Master's Program in Modern History of Georgia at Ilia State University.

The opening will be delivered by Ilia State University Rector, Professor Nino Doborjginidze.

The moderator will be Stephen Jones, professor at Ilia State University and co-supervisor of the Master's Program in Modern History of Georgia.

Participants in the discussion include:

  • Beka Kobakhidze, Professor at Ilia State University, co-supervisor of the Master's Program in Modern History of Georgia;
  • Timothy Blauvelt, Professor at Ilia State University;
  • Dimitri Shvelidze and Mikheil Bakhtadze, Associate Professors at Tbilisi State University.
