Professor Richard Hoover (NASA), a famous American astrophysicist and astrobiologist, will hold a public lecture “Astrobiology: the study of microfossils in meteorites” on September 28.
Professor Hoover studies the composition of meteorites, icy satellites of planets, comets and other celestial objects within the astrobiology interests.
Professor Hoover is the author of 15 inventions. Optical instruments and systems created by him are still used in space missions. He is the author of many science books and articles.
Professor Hoover is currently on a working visit with Irakli Simonia, professor of Ilia State University.
