The Student Choir of Folk Songs of Iliauni (leader – Associate Professor Tamaz Gabisonia) took first place in the 6th Children and Youth Choral Competition (in the 18-35 years category) held by the Georgian Choral Society and won silver and gold medals:

• Chant - Gold Medal (with 99.1 points)
• Song – Silver Medal (with 95.5 points)

The concert and award ceremony were held in the great hall of the Tbilisi State Conservatoire on November 14.

The Choir of Folk Songs of Iliauni was formed in 2011.

All students can participate in it.
