Sunday School of Iliauni: Korean Language Course - A1-1 Level


The Sunday School of Ilia State University gives students of VIII-XII grades from all over Georgia a unique opportunity to obtain funding from the university and master the Korean language (A1-1 level).

Due to the epidemic situation in the country, the project will be implemented remotely.

The students selected through the competition will have the opportunity to complete a 9-week course (24 lessons) with full funding and master the Korean language at A1-1 level.

Participant selection process

The selection of course participants will be carried out in two stages.

The first stage of selection

If you want to take the Iliauni Sunday School Korean Language Course (Level A1-1), fill out the online application form by February 11, 2022 (23:59) and prove your motivation for wanting to study Korean language.

The candidates selected after reviewing the application forms will be contacted no later than February 18 this year.

The second stage of selection

In the second stage, you will attend several lectures on Korean language and culture and complete a simple task based on the knowledge gained from the lectures.

The quality of this assignment determines the funding required from the University to take the full course.
Teaching format and schedule

The study will start on February 21, 2022.

Lectures will be held in distance format 2 times a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Duration of each lecture - 1.5 hours

The course includes 24 lectures and will last for 9 weeks.

Who can participate in the course?

The course is open to students of VIII-XII grades of any educational institution authorized in Georgia.


Each student of the course, who attends the mandatory number of lectures provided by the course, will receive a certificate confirming the completion of the course.
