SRNSF Science Popularization Grant – winner project from Ilia State University


One project of Ilia State University was financed within the framework of the Science Popularization grant competition of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia – “Promoting Natural Sciences in Secondary Schools: Explore our Universe”.

The project aims to conduct lectures on modern cosmology for schoolchildren from September 2022, for 15 weeks (academic semester), both online and face-to-face meeting format, based on Ilia State University. Lectures will be held every Saturday – for 3 (academic) hours. Doctoral and master's students of Ilia University will be involved in conducting the lectures-seminars. Within the project, a scientific team composed of members of the cosmology and gravitation group will select motivated students to further deepen their knowledge.
