Professor Zurab Kiknadze Awarded Honorary Title of Emeritus by the Ilia State University

9396 December 30th Ilia State University hosted a ceremony of awarding honorary title of Emeritus to Professor Zurab Kiknadze. Full Professor of the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies was given the title for special accomplishment. Zurab Kiknadze already has State Award (2004) and Ilia Machabeli Award (1978). Among his significant scientific works are: "Testament of Avtandil" (2001), "Church of Yesterday, Church of Today" (2002), "Georgian Folk Epos" (2002). Ilia State University is the first high education institution which has implemented and uses the initiative of the education legislation to award all full professors title of Emeritus.
