Ilia State University is launching the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program EMLex – European Master in Lexicography with an international consortium of eight universities.
The European Master's Program in Lexicography has been granted Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program status for the third time by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The program, which this time received seven-year funding, will continue until 2030.

This is an exceptional Master's program for its international orientation, nexus between theory and practice, promotion of multilingualism, innovative approaches in teaching and learning, mobility opportunities among the consortium members, and close links with the private and public sectors.
The program aims to train multilingual specialists who can work on specific lexicographical tasks, create new digital resources and software tools for language vocabulary analysis, taking into account new directions of linguistic information visualization.
At Ilia State University the program is led by Prof. Tinatin Margalitadze, director of the Center for Lexicography and Language Technologies.
