An Intensive Online Start- Up Bootcamp

On June 4th-5th Ilia State University in collaboration with the UWE Bristol hosted an intensive online start-up bootcamp, focused on developing students’ enterprise skills and supporting them to create their own ventures in the creative industries.
The two day intensive online bootcamp guided students through the business start-up journey and equipped them with skills in business planning, ideation and pitching.
During the bootcamp the idea management online platform-Validate was used to support students in developing their ideas.
After the bootcamp each participant was granted exclusive 12-month unlimited access to the Validate platform to develop and refine their business ideas and validate their go-to-market strategy.
The bootcamp was delivered by Lauren Davies- Lecturer in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship at UWE Bristol, Director of Enterprise Educators UK.
The project is funded by the British Council’s Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme. The five-year initiative aims to help develop the creative economy and enterprise skills to support sustainable development and social welfare.
