Cyber Laboratory Unilab and Center for Personal and Professional Development of Ilia State University announce admission to the 3-month practical course Python.

About the Python Course

Python, which is a very popular language today, is used in virtually all areas of modern development. For example, you can create web applications, make games, analyze data, automate system administration tasks and much more using this language.

During the basic course of Python, you will learn the fundamental concepts of this language, its construction, data types and structure, control blocks, cycles, functions, the principles of object-oriented programming at the basic level, etc.

Thus, this course is for you if you are a beginner, want to master basics of programming or go over the basic principles of the Python programming language in practice.

Duration of the Course and Stages of Teaching

The duration of the course is 3 months and it consists of two stages.

The first stage

Theoretical training for 2 months - participants go through the study topics provided by the syllabus and complete practical tasks.

The lecture meetings stipulated by the syllabus will be held 2 times a week, on Monday and Thursday, at 19:00, and their duration will be 2 hours. Total – 16 lecture meetings in remote format.

The second stage

The participants will implement real projects to strengthen their knowledge and create their own portfolio in the second stage of the project. They will be assisted by a practical mentor from the cyber laboratory Unilab in this process.

Who are the courses intended for?

Anyone with any experience interested in digital professions can participate in the course (age: 16+ ).

The full fee for the 3-month course is 880 GEL.

Who will teach me?

Davit Chincharashvili, a practicing lecturer of the cyber laboratory Unilab, a full stack developer with 9 years of work experience, will lead the theoretical teaching process and then mentor the participants in the process of the final project implementation within the framework of the Python course.

Basic programming languages: Python, PHP and JavaScript. He is currently working as a web developer in National Archives of Georgia.
