Young writers Mariam Burduli and Mariam Mchedluri have won the 2024 TUTA Writer’s Fellowship program, presented by the National Trust of Georgia, PEN Georgia, and Public Art Platform.

TUTA's Writer-in-Residence program welcomes individuals with expertise in journalism, research, and writing. It is supported by the US embassy in Georgia and Ilia State University.

The initiative is part of “The Memory Project: Fact-based Countering of Soviet Nostalgia and Russian Historical Revisionism” and aims to reinforce Georgia’s identity as a strong, independent, and democratic country.
