BlackNETs “Exorcising the BLACK Sea’S Silent Killers” is a project aiming at quantifying and minimizing the impact of abandoned, accidentally lost, or discarded fishing gear on the environment of the Black Sea.
The project is coordinated by the NGO Mare Nostrum, funded by NEXT Black Sea Basin and co-funded by the European Union. The project duration is 18 months, with a total budget of €456,660.26.
