EIT Higher Education Initiative 2025
Competitions
The EIT Higher Education Initiative will launch a new Call for Proposals in late 2025!
This call will feature two topics:
Topic A - STEM: Supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in STEM education through university-industry collaboration, entrepreneurial training, and research commercialisation.
Topic B - European Universities Alliances (EUAs): Strengthening strategic cooperation between EUAs and the EIT ecosystem to foster innovation capacity and long-term collaboration.
Total funding: €70 million
Per project: Up to €2 million
Duration: 24 months
Who can apply:
- Higher Education Institutions (Each HEI must submit proof of accreditation by national authorities to award recognised degrees)
- European University Alliances
- Businesses, Research Institutes, NGOs, and Public Bodies
Consortium requirements:
Minimum of 5 partners, including:
- 3 HEIs from 3 different Horizon Europe-eligible countries
- 1 business partner
- 1 additional non-HEI partner
