Call for Applications: Fellowships at the Käte Hamburger Research Centre “global dis:connect” (LMU Munich)
Exchange Programs
The Käte Hamburger Research Centre global dis:connect at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich invites applications for 6–12 month fellowships for the 2026/27 academic year.
The centre explores globalisation through the lens of dis:connectivity, focusing on the tensions between global connections and disconnections. Scholars from the humanities and social sciences—especially, but not exclusively, from history, theatre studies, and art history—are encouraged to apply. Research projects must clearly relate to the centre’s themes and address at least one of its guiding topics.
Applications are open to post-doctoral and senior researchers who have demonstrated outstanding academic work in areas aligned with the centre's thematic focus.
