Advancing Georgian Legal Culture through Research and Education: Final Project Presentation

On December 18, at 18:00, Ilia State University (ISU) School of Law, with generous support from the USAID Rule of Law Program (ROLP), cordially invites you to the closing event of the project titled “Advancing Georgian Legal Culture through Research and Education: Final Project Presentation.” The event will be held at Book House Ligamus.
The Dean of the School of Law and a representative from the USAID Rule of Law Program will address the audience.
Esteemed professors who have been contributors to the project will present model research papers on the following topics:
- “Community Policing Reform in Post-Soviet Georgia: Decoding Persistent Challenges through the Lens of Soviet Legacies”.
- "A Lawyer - A Profession in the Shadow of the Totalitarian System."
- "Economic and Legislative Transformations: Land Practices and Moralities in Villages of Dusheti."

In addition, we are pleased to present a newly elaborated interdisciplinary syllabus on the Basics of Georgian Legal Culture.
Based on this syllabus, the Laboratory for Studies of Georgian Legal Culture will be established at the ISU Center for Constitutional Studies, and its presentation will also take place on the same day.
