International Forum “Exploring the Biodiversity of the Caucasus – Insights from Ongoing International Collaborations”

On 20-21 November, at 10:00 am, in Auditorium G106, Ilia State University (ISU) will host the international forum “Exploring the Biodiversity of the Caucasus – Insights from Ongoing International Collaborations.”

The forum is organized by the Caucasus Barcode of Life (CaBOL) project, a joint effort by ISU and Bonn and Hamburg Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change.

The forum will be attended by Nino Doborjginidze, ISU Rector, Ernst Peter Fischer, the Ambassador of Germany to Georgia, and representatives from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change.

Young scholars participating in the CaBOL project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, will deliver speeches.

As part of the forum, the Leibniz Biodiversity German-Georgian Research Centre will be established at ISU.
