The Three Seas Polish Initiative and Georgia - Joint Seminar by the Mieroszewski Centre and Ilia State University
On November 27, at 15:00, the Georgian-Polish panel will be held at the Austrian Library (Ilia State University) with the support of the Juliusz Mieroszewski Centre for Dialogue.
The panel of Polish and Georgian experts will discuss EU Eastern neighbors - Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia – considered as prospective members of the Three Seas Region.
The Three Seas Initiative unites 12 EU countries that are located between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas. The platform aims at strengthening transatlantic ties, economic cooperation, and infrastructure among the countries.
The panel of Polish and Georgian experts will address the following issues:
- What benefits can the Initiative bring to these countries?
- Does the Initiative have a security dimension?
- How does it fit into the overall European agenda?
- What are the historical roots of this regional matrix, and what is their relevance for the contemporary Central-Eastern European developments?
