RESEARCH SEMINAR ANNOUNCEMENT Where the Sacred Flows: The Infrastructural Politics of Climate Change Adaptation in the Bengal Delta in India
Events
About the Presentation:
This presentation will offer ethnographic insights into the infrastructural politics of a World Bank-sponsored climate change adaptation programme in the Bengal Delta in India. It critically engages with adaptation as a novel mode of environmental governance—one that has profoundly reshaped the cultural geography, natural landscape, and socio-ecological relationships of the world’s largest delta.
