EMPLOYEE OF ILIAUNI INSTITUTE OF ZOOLOGY DESCRIBES NEW BUG SPECIES

Assistant professor at Ilia State University and employee of the Institute of Zoology, Shalva Barjadze, along with his Turkish colleague Ishil Oezdemir, from the province of Ankara, Central Turkey, has described a new species of bug Hyadaphisbupleuriphila sp.n. (Apiaceae), found on Bupleurum sp. The said new type of bug morphologically is similar to Hyadaphis coerulescens (Narzikulov, 1965), H. ferganicaMukhamediev&Akhmedov, 1979 and H. foeniculi (Passerini,1860).
